Football.Enterprises Appoints Nicolas Jungkind as Chief Executive Officer
Global sport, technology and football executive — most recently Managing Director at the German Football Association (DFB) — to lead the company’s next phase of growth
Charleston, SC – Football.Enterprises Inc., a global football company building an integrated platform spanning club ownership, football operations, technology and long-term capital, today announced the appointment of Nicolas Jungkind as Chief Executive Officer. In this role, Jungkind will lead the company’s strategy and operations as it builds and scales high-performing football organizations across club ownership, technology, player development and commercial innovation.
Jungkind has spent more than two decades combining elite football, enterprise technology and international business. Having held senior leadership positions at SAP, Oracle and most recently the German Football Association (DFB), he brings a rare combination of football expertise, technology leadership and commercial strategy. Throughout his career, he has built strategic partnerships, led innovation initiatives and scaled organizations by combining football expertise, technology and commercial innovation.
Prior to joining Football.Enterprises, Jungkind served as Managing Director for the Americas at the German Football Association (DFB), where he led the federation’s strategic initiatives across North and South America. His responsibilities spanned elite performance, technology, innovation, commercial development and international partnerships, strengthening the DFB’s presence throughout the region while building lasting relationships with clubs, leagues, governing bodies, global brands and strategic partners.
He is the founder of Jungkind Sports Consulting and a guest lecturer at Stanford University.
“Nicolas understands where the game is headed. The next generation of football will be led by organizations that combine sporting excellence, technology, commercial innovation and long-term capital. He has spent his career bringing those disciplines together, making him the ideal leader to execute our vision for Football.Enterprises,” said Peter Grieve, Chairman of Football.Enterprises.
“Football has traditionally been built club by club. Our vision is different. We are building an integrated football platform where clubs, technology, shared capabilities, infrastructure and long-term capital reinforce one another, enabling every organization in our ecosystem to become stronger than it could be on its own,” said Nicolas Jungkind. “Access to permanent capital allows us to invest with a decades-long horizon rather than traditional investment cycles.”
Jungkind assumes the role of Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect, working alongside Chairman Peter Grieve and a leadership team and advisory board drawn from global football, finance, sports marketing and branding.
